Sample Weekly Writing Assignment

Writing assignments are limited to a maximum of one-page, single sided, and single-spaced (not including citations – see below). This is a relatively short assignment so be sure to use the space allotted effectively! 12-point Times New Roman font or similar should be used throughout the entire document. Ensure that sufficient margin spaces are maintained (e.g. 1 inche side, and 1 inch top/bottom). Note that all relevant course and student information can be placed in the header, which will effectively reduce your top margin (see above)– following the presets in your word processing application should be fine. The goal is to ensure a clear, legible, and professional looking document. DO NOT REPEAT THE QUESTION IN YOUR ASSIGNMENT AS IT WILL TAKE UP SPACE AND COST YOU MARKS.
Assignments of less than half a page will not be given the 1 mark for submission

Use paragraphs to separate the main ideas in your report and avoid overly long paragraphs and run-on sentences. You are aiming to present your ideas in as clear and concise a manner, so avoid the use of jargon, casual language, and unnecessarily complex or technical terms. Limited and judicious use of bulleted or numbered lists is appropriate at times and can be used to:
• List the main ideas from a reading
• Categorize theoretical content
• Highlight the key points in your analysis

It is not appropriate to compose large portions of your report using bullet points.

Citations must be provided for any outside work or ideas that you draw from. They must be identified in your assignment using quotations and authors name and page number and should be listed at the end of the report on a separate page with the title bibliography. In general you should only need to draw on the assigned readings from the course and citations for these are provided in the syllabus and on…...

In this paper Team C will go over the objectives for week three. Equity and Investments was the focus for week. The weeks objective also talked about the differentiate types of stocks issued by corporation. Calculating stocks, dividends, and stock splits was also part of the equity and investments. In addition to the learning objectives for week three, recording treasury stock transaction was also elaborated. Team C also read chapters 11 and 12 of Financial Accounting. Week Three objectives provided us with electronic reserve reading. Being in Accounting 291 the readings will help team C with the understanding of the week’s objectives. In week Three team C had a learning team reflection and that was to choose a virtual organization for our ratio analysis memo preparation. This learning team assignment that is due in week five seem to be a bit much but, we know that it will be well worth it for our future. In conclusion, week three focused on equity and investments. Law 421 Week 2 Learning Team Assignment Weekly Reflection

...Learning Team Weekly Reflection Law/421 University of Phoenix In Week one of Contemporary Business Law, Team A learned about substantive, procedural, criminal, civil, common, and statutory law. In the reading assignments for week one, we discerned the differences that separate the laws and how the courts enforce the laws. Corporations and businesses are awarded protections under the Amendments to the Constitution of the United States that protect them from fraudulence. The following essay covers Team A interpretation of the different laws and how the laws pertain to corporations, businesses, and our current places of employment. Substantive Law and Procedural Law Substantive laws are laws that give people rights. These rights also create certain duties. Procedural laws outline what must be done in order to exercise substantive rights. An individual is granted the right to obtain restitution when they have suffered losses due to another’s actions. This right would be a substantive law. Procedural law provides information on how to use the legal system to file a lawsuit and how to obtain restitution once awarded by the court (Melvin, 2011). The Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution applies the Bill of Rights to the states. The Due Process clause outlines procedural laws when the government affects an individual’s life, liberty, or property rights. If the government has to interfere with......
