...Romans road and Four Spirit Laws was a method of sharing the Gospel in a more straight forward way. Just like the actual roads of Rome it was important for stability and expansion of information. The method consists of five parts and each part is supported by one verse from the book of romans. The first verse says “Everyone is a sinner” meaning it is ok to sin all humans will at some point. This doesn’t make sinning ok; it only means that it’s only natural too. The second verse says that “The price of sin is death” which means the penalty of sin is death. Christ paid the penalty for our sin. We all deserve death, which is the ultimate penalty for sin. Everyone will pay for his sin unless he comes to Christ, who has paid the price for our sin with His blood which is stated in the third verse as well. The fourth verse states that “We can receive salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ” which means if you put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and make Him the Master, the Boss of your life, you will live forever. God loves you and wants you to enjoy peace and life, today and eternally. God doesn't hate you, but he hates sin. He loved you before you were born. He knew you'd need a Savior and sent His only Son Jesus to die in your place. Christ, who was without sin became a sin sacrifice for you. The final stated that “salivation through Jesus brings us into a relationship with God makes us righteous in his eyes”. The advantage of these verses is that they...

Cost Methods

...Costing Methods Paper LaKeisha R. Fields ACC/561- Accounting July 15, 2013 Facilitator: Shirley Smith Costing Methods Paper Introduction-Absorption vs. Variable Costing In managerial accounting there are two cost methods that can be utilized for the purpose of presenting financial data in a manufacturing environment. They consist of absorption and variable costing methods. Although they are somewhat similar they have key differences that impact a company. In absorption costing the profit is attached to the unit of each item produced. The fixed costs associated in the manufacturing are also considered. This leaves much uncertainty to the actual price to the unit produce. In variable costing the accuracy is much more accepted in managerial accounting. Yet, the fixed costs are not attached the product costing because they change often. The use of these methods has its benefits in accounting; and will leave much to consideration in decision making by many managers working in production. Here as follows are some of those benefits and a possible decision-making consideration that can be beneficial in a low biding by competition in a manufacturing industry. Benefits of the Two Methods According to Articlebase.com in an article titled “Absorption vs. Variable Costing”, there are benefits to each cost methods in accounting. In Absorption costing the benefit of it would be that a company can have an inventory of finished goods. These finished goods are a part of the fixed...

...objective. To answer my research questions I’ll rely on secondary sources like academic papers and books. The University database also contains research papers which can be used to answer my research question. 1.5 Structure Chapters 2, 3 and 4 will answer research questions 1, 2 and 3. Chapter 5 contains an analysis of how to manage cultural differences that influence the entry mode choice. After these chapters the main question is discussed in chapter 6 followed by conclusions. The final chapter contains future recommendations and the limitations that apply for this thesis. 1.6 Methodology The research is based on preliminary researches. The sources of this research consist of papers published in several journals. The disadvantage of this method of researching is that the research relies on secondary data which are the opinions of other scholars instead of facts based on empirical research. Therefore papers from high quality journals will be used to increase the reliability and credibility of this paper. Entry modes and Cultural Distance 5 Chapter 2: Cultural distance Culture is a concept that is difficult to define. Hofstede’s (1980) definition is perhaps the best known and therefore also applied here: ‘Culture is the collective programming of the mind which distinguishes the members of one human group from another... Culture, in this sense, includes systems of values; and values are among the building blocks of culture’. This chapter will provide further information......

...METHODOLOGY This portion contains the research design, the subject of the study, the data collecting device, and the ways that the researchers did to derive up with the result. The researchers utilized a descriptive method of gathering data, meaning collecting data by way of using survey questionnaire and introduce them to the selected respondents. It was developed with the determination of describing the study, making the readers understand what the study is all about and on how it will be helpful to every student to be aware on the most prevalent activities that the UB students are engaged in during their Vacant Periods. The method used requires shorter time spent for data collection and processing. The cost entailed in studying only a part of the population is much lower compared with investigations involving the whole population. It allows a more accurate execution of descriptive procedures. Designed questionnaire surveys were disseminated to the Students of the University of Batangas five (5) from every College Departments, who were randomly selected, meaning selecting a sample by giving each sampling unit an equal chance of being drawn as sample. The respondents of the study were limited to fifty only coming from all College Departments of the said institution. The questionnaire was based on the specific objectives of the proposed study. In order to discuss the data gathered thoroughly the percentage of the responses was computed to interpret the data. And the......

Costing Methods

...Costing Methods ACC 561 July 15, 2014 Costing Methods Absorption and variable costing are two methods an organization such as Polk Company can employ when accounting for costs and generating income statements. The differences between the two methods are focused on the types of costs absorbed or assigned to the product, specifically fixed and variable overhead expenses as well as when fixed overhead manufacturing costs are allocated. In absorption costing all costs are charged to the product including direct materials, direct labor, variable manufacturing overhead, and fixed manufacturing overheard (Kimmel, Weygandt, Kieso, 2011). In variable costing direct materials, direct labor, and variable manufacturing overhead is charged to the product, and fixed overhead expenses are considered period costs (Kimmel et al. 2011). In addition, full absorption costing is considered a generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP) and used for external reporting purposes whereas variable costing is used for internal reporting (Stevenson, Barnes, & Stevenson, 1993). The Polk Company benefits more from using the absorption method because the overhead expense is allocated on the basis of 80,300 units sold. The variable costing method calculates the fixed overheard costs based on the 94,500 units produced for the period. In this case the absorption method provides management with a more accurate assessment of the fishing lure profitability. Under the absorption costing method, the......

The Method

...The Method: What we are doing is, we find website in niches that you have to choose and that are not mobile optimized (responsive)* yet. *This means that they do not have a mobile optimized version of their website, i.e. users with mobile devices will have a hard time browsing their website. We sell them mobile websites. But wait – do I need coding skills here? No, absolutely not. The trick is, that you have a really great pitch. Of course you can sell the mobile website whenever possible, for example if you go into a bar, just search their website and if it is not displayed in a nice way, go and talk to the owner and sell them a better site. But in this Tutorial we focus on E-Mailing them. So here comes the Step by Step Guide. . 1)  Take a sheet of Paper and write down the niches you would like to take, for example:
a. Restaurants
b. Bars
c. Hotels
d. SwimmingPools e. Dentists/Doctors f. Etc.
We are looking for STATIC sites here, best sites are sites that do not have dynamic content and complicated stuff like self-made booking systems etc. Take easy sites that only have static information like the above mentioned ones. . 2)  Now, as you got your first niche, we are looking for a first city, for example choose a Canadian City like Kingston (Ontario) or any other city in any country of the world. You should make a list with many cities here, too. And then use a. City1Niche1 b. City2Niche1 c. City3Niche1 d. City X Niche 1 e. City1Niche2......

...Method Design The design of the experiment is a non-experimental single sample design; this is because there is no independent variable. The experiment only contains two dependent variables, one dependent variable being the sex label and the other dependent variable being the gender pronouns. Participants The participants were all close friends or family of 1st year psychology students studying at Teesside University. In total there were six participants, four of which were female and 2 male. The age range of participants was 23-71 years old with a mean of 41.00. Each participant completed consent forms to adhere to The SSS&L ethics committee who approved this study. Materials The stimulus used in this experiment was a picture of a soft toy, participants were provided with a pen and paper to describe the toy. There where two questions used in the experiment to obtain gender bias results. Certain inanimate words where used within the first part of the study in order not to try and manipulate the participant’s way of thinking about gender of the soft toy. Procedure The researcher explained all procedures before experiment commenced. Participants were then presented with a picture of a soft toy, they were then asked to write 3 or 4 sentences describing the beginning of a story about the toy, using inanimate language. After completion of the short story, they were then asked a question of “State whether the animal is a boy or a girl?” The last question then...

Methods of Evangelism

...Methods of Evangelism Joshua Fleming Liberty University Online The Roman Roads Summary of Method – The Roman Road is a methodic evangelism approach of presenting the Gospel through various bible verses throughout the book of Romans. From this approach of evangelism, each of the verses are placed in a systematic method to show us who is in need of salvation, why they are in need of salvation, the way in which God will provide salvation, ways in which we can respond to God’s salvation, and finally the results of us responding to God’s gift of salvation. In Romans 3:10-12, and 23 its states “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard”. These verses show us that every single person is in need of salvation. It states boldly that we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s standards. In Romans 6:23 it states “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” This verse shows us that as sinners and unrighteous people our consequences of our sin is death. Although it does show us that we deserve death it always gives us hope through the gift in which God has given us. In Romans 5:8 it shows us that “God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” God gave us the greatest gift anyone could......

Costing Methods

...Costing Methods Heidi Loebig Costing Methods Absorption and variable are two costing methods used in accounting; both costing methods have advantages and disadvantages. In absorption costing manufacturing costs being absorbed by the product. Product costs under variable accounting include direct labor, material costs, and variable manufacturing overhead. The Polk Company used variable and absorption costing to generate income statements. Both the variable and absorption income statements showed net income at a loss. The absorption income statement recorded a higher net income; because manufacturing overhead costs are part of the production costs. Absorption costing allows the Polk Company to record a higher net income and is consistent with generally accepted accounting principles. Absorption and variable costing methods assist in the decision-making process and have advantages. Absorption costing includes manufacturing overhead costs up front versus variable costing where manufacturing overhead costs are a periodic expense. Variable accounting is consistent with cost-volume-profit (CVP); net income does not change with production levels, making it easier to see the impact fixed and variable costs have on net income. With variable costing, net income is tied to sales level, not production levels. The presentation of a variable cost income statement allows for easier identification of cost and their effect on business. Variable costing allows managers to see...

Methods of Evangelism

...Methods of Evangelism Romans Road Method Summary of Method – The Romans road method of evangelism is a way of leading the lost to salvation using verses from the book of Romans out of the Word of God. It is a very powerful and effective way of explaining why we need salvation, how God has provided us the way to salvation, how we are to receive it, and what’s the outcome after receiving it. Advantages of Using This Method – One advantage to this method is that it’s simple to understand. The biggest advantage is that we’re using the Word of God and by doing so we’re getting supernatural power by the Holy Spirit to start working on the person or persons we’re talking to. We’re not the ones that “close” people into salvation, it’s the Holy Spirit that does the work after we’ve planted and watered the seeds. Disadvantages of Using This Method – When using this message it could be really easy for the people hearing this to not fully understand the meat and potatoes behind salvation. Too many times than I care to count I see believers caring more about the numbers of people led to salvation than the actual quality of it. If not done correctly people tend to think that just simply saying the words is enough when it’s not. In order for true salvation to take place one must confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and “truly” believe it in their hearts or else they’re buying a “knock off” version of salvation and being misled which could be eternally damaging. I don’t know......

...disagree with us, and especially they do not provide any specific point. Conveying message is one of main reasons to communicate with people. When we assigned all the work in the meeting, but some Ben still mistook the chapters he should do. As a result, conflict occurred and people started to point fingers at the others. There is no doubt communication is a key implement in a group. Recommendations I believe that it is one of the best methods to sharpen people’s skill by reviewing and analyzing cases we experienced. I have learned many lessons from working in this group. Understanding personality is necessary when work in a group. If people understand each other, then there will be less conflict in a group. Effective communication is important as well to lead the team to achieve the goal. If I was in the same group project and exactly same people again, I would deal with argument actively. For example, I will send E-email clearly and write as detail as I can. Besides, asking people to reply E-mail to confirm will be a good method to conduct communication. I anticipate in the future no matter whom am I working with, I will have different problems. The way I believe in is to keep myself rational and always ask if I have any questions....

...allows to combines both methodologies into an integrated system or improvement roadmap. This will reduce / eliminate source of the waste and improve the quality during the production thus by increase the productivity and cost reduction. The Lean methodologies have proven over the last twenty years that it is possible to achieve dramatic improvements in cost, and time by focusing on process performance. Whereas Six Sigma is focused on reducing variation and improving process yield by following a problem-solving approach using statistical tools, Lean is primarily concerned with eliminating waste and improving flow by following the Lean principles and a defined approach to implement each of these principles. By utilizing both methods simultaneously holds the promise of being able to address all types of process problems with the most appropriate toolkit. For example, inventory reduction not only requires reducing batch sizes and linking operations by using Lean, but also minimizing process variation by utilizing Six Sigma tools. The integrated approach to process improvement (using Lean and Six Sigma) will include: • Using Value Stream Mapping to develop a pipeline of projects that lend themselves either to applying Six Sigma or Lean tools. • Teaching Lean principles first to increase momentum, introducing the Six Sigma process later on to tackle the more advanced problems. • Adjusting the content of the training to the needs of the......

Lehman Brother Collapse - Vsm Perspective

...Lehman Brothers’ Collapse – A VSM Perspective Introduction Lehman Brothers is a name that today almost everyone across the globe is familiar with. It was started as a small general store in the year 1844 in Montgomery, Alabama by a German immigrant Henry Lehman. Their next big step was in the year 1950, when Henry and his brothers Emanuel and Mayer joined together to form the Lehman Brothers. The firm kept on growing in the following years at a decent pace, as the USA economy prospered. However, their journey to become the fourth largest investment bank in USA was not an easy one. They had to survive the rail-road bankruptcies in the late 1800s. Then, they had to face the great Depression era of 1930s, followed by World War I and II. In the year 1994, they were successful in evading the capital shortage due to the American Express incident. They even came out of the Long term capital management collapse and the Russian default in the year 1998. So, one thing is for sure that the Lehman Brothers indeed had a troubled past. But they always managed to come out of it successfully. However, it was not the same story for them always. The combination of collapsing US housing market and the Lehman Brothers’ blindfolded rush into the sub-prime mortgage market proved too fatal for the organization. On September 15th, 2008 when the fourth largest investment bank in USA filed for bankruptcy, it had an asset worth $639 billion and a debt of $619 billion. Their bankruptcy filing was......
