VINO Co. aims to fullfil the high demand for quality international wines experienced in the chinese market over the past few years, in particular, first class Spanish Rioja wines.
We believe that the sales of Spanish wine makes for a great economic opportunity in China, especially in the capital city of Beijing. Increasingly, the importers, distributors and, most importantly, the general public have become familiar with Spanish wine and its superior quality. Thus, China has become the third most important market for Spanish wine in the world.
The sales of Spanish wine bottled to China increased 41,1 % in value during the first semester of this year, with 36.9 million euros sold between January and July, This has positioned Spain as the third world seller, with 6,9 % of the market, behind France and Australia.
Statistics indicate that in a decade China will be a substantial market for Spanish partly due to the fall of tariffs since Chinas entry into the World Trade Organization , the fast growing middle and upper class and therefore, the increase of purchasing power.
According to Vinexpo, the wine consumption in China boomed between 2007 and 2011 reaching a growth of 142.1 % with a total of 159.25 million boxes purchased. Although it is foreseen that the growth rate will slow down to 39.6 % between 2012 and 2016, the Chinese will drink 252 million boxes of wine in 2016.
In 2010 the Chinese bought nearly 47 million liters of Spanish wine. Six times more than in 2009, therefore our sale expectations are enormous. The mid and upper Chinese class is rapidly growing a fondness for quality wines, they enjoy celebrating and consecuently, drink alot.

Also, the Chinese Government, which is concerned about alcoholism, has started to promote wine as healthy drink and as alternative to distilled sprits that have been up till now the chinese choice of alcohol. This is amoung other reasons why the chinese government has reduced import taxes on wines imported from foreign countries.

We have a lot of work ahead to promote our wine and a growing competition in the market. The Chinese Government has the intention of promoting vineyard cultivation in its own country from now on. They have just planted thousands of hectares of vineyards that in 8 or 10 years already will produce their own wine and will not need us so much. According to the last studies, China will produce more wine than Australia in 3 years, more than E.E.U.U in 6, and more than Spain in 10 or 15 years.
After analysing the obviously favourable market for wine in china, we came up with the idea of VINO, a privately owned enterprise which would offer the opportunity for chinese mid/upper class residents in Beijing to buy exceptional quality Spanish wines. Located in one of the most expensive and chic areas of Beijing customers will be able to sample a range of only the best wines from spain. We want to create a comfortable, modern and elegant ambiance with personalised and individual customer service and great attention to detail. The customers we expect to be catering for would be the middle to upper class, with wine ranging from 140 to 3000 rmb per bottle. Also, making VINO a unique enterprise, we will have a wine bar attached to the store where customers can come with their friends to savour a glass of wine before dinner or a night out on the town.
Around the area we have chosen to locate our first shop there are very few wine stores and most certainly none which specialize in Spanish wines. We will be located very near to 4 Spanish restaurants which we hope will attract people in the area to go for the full monty; a lovely relaxing Spanish dinner after a tasting of some of the best Spanish wines before heading out or simply before returning home. There are many foreigners who frecuent this part of town and it is mainly the affluent chinese beijingers that we reckon would fully appreciate and be willing to try this new experience.
This Business Plan is prepared to obtain financing in the amount of 10000000 RMB to cover mainly the rent of our shop location in Sanlitun. This startup loan will help funding the rehabilitatation of the interior of the establishment to keep the wine stored in the perfectly adecuate way and at the right temperature in addition to decorating and prepping the store to our likings. Additional financing has already been secured in the form of 1300000RMB of personal savings.
Once refurbished, our store and wine bar will consist of 150 square meters filled with elegant and modern furnishings , finished in the best quality materials that enable storage of plenty of wine yet space for socializing and sampling. The idea is to create an store that will allow the customer to feel comfortable, browse through all our different wines and feel at ease socializing, sampling and learning about the wines on offer.…...

...Business Consulting Paper Kim Spann MGT/527 January 9, 2013 Linda Kulka Business Consulting Paper Business consulting is needed in businesses in the world today. Regardless of what type of business a person has or works for, consulting is needed to see what issues a business has whether good or bad. A business consultant can make a business become better in different aspects. A business consultant does not necessary have to know about the business he or she is consulting, but he or she do need to know what type of business is being consulted. A business consulting discovers the problems in the business and then creates a solution to the problem by making things better in the workplace. According to Bryan (2013), business consultants are the connecting link between discovering problems and creating solutions. They can come as one person, or they could come as a team. No matter what form of business consultant you use, they will have one goal and that will be to meet the goals of the company they are assisting. A business consultant will not put down a business, but will let the owners know what needs to be done to have the business run smoothly or without flaws. According to Pryles (2013), a consultant is an expert at recognizing problems and shaping solutions to those problems. A business consultant has different roles in consulting a business. A person may just believe a business consultant only comes into a business to criticize a business, but......

...for men. Yes, there are clothing stores, shoe stores, fitness stores, all present individually, but there are no such stores that can give away everything that that a man might need, altogether under one roof. This will give us a first mover advantage, and will ensure that we don’t have any current competitors as such. Furthermore, we are also planning to launch a conjoined entertainment hub, where people can enjoy themselves, by hanging-out, playing console games and watching league or national matches on large-screen TVs with their mates. So as it is evident, we are both a service as well as retail store. Here, diversification can be expanding into a new segment of an industry that the business is already in, or investing in a promising business outside of the scope of the existing business. Our product and services will be so diverse that it will promise to bring back good overall return values even if certain products do not sell well from our store. As far as our retail unit is concerned, these will be our products basically: * T-shirts, sports jerseys, Shoes * Gym Equipment * Hair-care products * Facial products * Body care creams/products * Shaving/grooming products * Perfumes/deodorants * Gaming instruments All of these core products will be branded and imported through reliable agents, to preserve credibility and to differentiate our store from all the other stores in shopping-malls who sell similar products. ...Start-up Sample Business Plan According to statistics from the SBA (Small Business Association), the last five years have propagated the largest entrepreneurial surge this country has ever seen. We doubt that even the current recession will change this picture. Each year in the US, we see about 750,000 new companies started, with over $26B in investments from angel groups and venture capitalists. Yet according to the same data sources, many of these companies fail in the first year, and only 1 out of 100 startups who apply get funded, due to failures in addressing the items listed in the introduction. This is the huge opportunity that is being addressed by Startup Professionals. Starting a new business can be both complicated and confusing—even for experienced entrepreneurs. Working through the maze of financial requirements and the multitude of other hurdles that must be met to make a business operational is a formidable challenge, especially for those with minimal prior business experience. At the same time, in many small communities new businesses are an essential component of a successful economic development strategy. Restaurants play an especially important role in many small communities. In addition to providing a place to obtain food service, these establishments can be a focal point to facilitate an exchange of ideas and an opportunity to build social capital. Consequently, having a restaurant on main street benefits both the owner and the community. Table of...

...Introduction In 1983, Heather Evans graduated from Harvard Business School. She group up in New York with her dad, who worked hard in the business world as an attorney with a Wall Street firm. Heather had always liked that line of work and decided to try it out. During her college years she worked as a model for many famous magazines, which gave her a taste of what it would be like to run her own business. After doing very well in school she began to seek out investors who could fund her company. Ms. Evans will need to use all of her negotiating skills possible if she wants her new business to last. Problem Analysis In my opinion, the biggest challenge that faces Heather Evans is financing. Heather Evans is a very recent graduate from Harvard Business School and has been working on getting her venture off the ground for quite some time. She has the know-how and skill in her industry but not the funds. This is why she is seeking out investors. This is proving to be more difficult and time consuming than she had anticipated. I think most people have this experience at one time or another especially if they are starting their own business. The great ideas of the world do not always get all the support in the world. To make matters worse, Evans has invested plenty of her personal funds in the business and has hired a few employees. In essence she has put a lot of skin in the game. So there is no option of just deciding that the venture was not a success. To put......
