I was asked to organize a Life Behavior Plan for myself and turn it at the end of the year. Although this paper may seem to be opposite of what my agenda is suppose to be; it is in fact my approach to a better behavior. For some people a good behavior plan may consist of exercise and physical strengthening. For others maybe a healthier diet is in need. To me a behavior plan is something that helps organize your life or puts light on issues that need to become more balanced. Ultimately a balanced life is the goal of our behavior plans. My Behavior plan is to meditate and get back to doing the one thing that I do best and that is to write. The following paragraphs are part of a daily/weekly ritual I like to call “Words of Wisdom.” They are my thoughts on various aspects of life. These thoughts are brought to me through meditation and some research. The goal of these, “Words of Wisdom” is to focus on areas of unbalance in my life and plan my approach to getting them in balance. The following is my approach and thoughts on self confidence
Believing in one’s self is a structured characteristic. Self confidence isn’t obtained easily this is because there are several aspects of one’s life that must be balanced in order for self confidence to be obtained. One can’t just get confidence it is an earned characteristic and must be tried and tested. High ego or cockiness can easily be mistaken for confidence because most people associate lack of fear with being confident. However confidence is an understanding of who you are and realizing that with hard work, sound planning, and self sacrifice you can accomplish your goals. Confidence also is the acceptance of failure and realizing that not every goal is achieved the first time. You may need to re-analyze, meditate, and re-plan. Having confidence helps make this process fluid. Remember some goals take a longer time to achieve…...

My Nursing Career and Life Plan

...MY NURSING CAREER AND LIFE PLAN As written by Walter Mosely, “America now stand on a fiscal precipice and right now our money is worth less daily as our children’s potential is dwindling, our medical insurance, Social Security and ability to make choices about when and if we retire are eroding”. So I decided to become a nurse, to have health insurance, paid vacations, 401k pension plans and security of tenure. The need for a career that is not just a JOB, but a career that can make me financially stable (no more paycheck to paycheck), a career which will bring joy to both me and those I help nurture back to health. Even as a small child attending Elementary School, I had this vision of becoming a Nurse and working in as hospital assisting the sick and needy. Not just a nurse trying to make money, but also that nurse who shows caring and understanding for all patients young or old, rich or poor, and of course the one that would see beyond a patients color. Life doesn’t always take you in a single direction, so even though I have worked in numerous industries including the healthcare field, dreams got pushed aside as other interests were pursued. Today I can say that I have taken that first step; that giant leap to achieving that dream. Finally, I have registered and started classes which will lead to me graduating with an Associate of Science degree and ultimately becoming a Registered Nurse after 2 years of study and also being successful in the State ......

Health Benefits of Tai Chi

...Health Benefits of Tai Chi Tai chi grew out of Chinese martial arts, and its roots are intertwined with traditional Chinese medicine and philosophy. In the early 20th century, the benefits of tai chi were discovered and it became an exercise for preventive medicine and wellness. There are several different forms of Tai Chi taught, however the most popular are Wu, Yang, and Chen. These different forms vary in what they emphasize. Some emphasize stress relief, while others emphasize health or self-defense. When deciding if one wants to learn Tai Chi, research should be done on the different styles. The Chen style has jumps, kicks, and strikes and explosive movements. The New Wu style has a pronounced lean in many of the movements that is said to help gain leverage and power. The Kuang Ping style uses an upright stance and straight-leg heel kicks and jumping kicks and is done at a faster pace than later Yang forms. The Yang Cheng-fu style has slow, smooth and graceful movements. There are several other Tai Chi styles that a vast range of movements and speeds. ...increasingly criticised for their high sugar content or the health risks of artificial sweeteners and their impact on obesity. People will tend to act more responsibly and be more careful about the chemicals they put in their bodies. In an effort to capture health-conscious customers, Coca Cola recently launched a new mid calorie alternative containing naturally occurring sugar, The Coca-cola life. This new soda takes advantage of the stevia, a natural sweetener which is calorie free and can be substituted to sugar. Life Plan

...* Life Plan for Micah Taylor Presented by Leader: Kareem White Team Members: * Ernast May * Nathanial Rhenwrick * Willie Nelson III April 4, 2013 Introduction We, the future leaders of the Journey would like to thank you for your willingness and kindness to attend our meetings. Not everyone would have been as courageous, honest and open to discuss personal matters that relate to their lives. By no means do we identify ourselves as professionals or experts in the subject matters discussed in this document. We are simply a group of men who have committed ourselves to a process that includes self-awareness, reflection to identify our issues and to control/eliminate the weaknesses. We identify our issues as weaknesses, because they draw us from the Light of God and places us in a state of Darkness. When the ability to shine the Light has been removed from us, we are unable to share the source of the light with humanity. We fellowship to share and resolve the many issues we encounter in life. Our purpose is not prejudice, judgment or to be critical of one another. We have all fallen short, yet we strive to finish the race and to become what God has called us to be. Allow us to share with you a model that will help you in your search for answers. This plan is only the first step and we hope it will be a tool to guide you to the desired change you expressed to us. I. Your Expressions We heard you say that anger, lust, uncertainty...

...My Life Plan Vonda Shields My name is Vonda Shields., from Mobile Alabama. In this town you would think you can live up your dreams, but not much happening here. I have a lot of dreams. When I was a kid my dream is to be a Paralegal, and as the time goes by, I have other dreams, at times, and I wanted to be a Nurse, or a teacher and other motivating dreams. But now I have grown-up, now I know what I want to be. Currently, I’m nearly finished my educations at Keiser University. I will obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. Life Plan

...The Plan Faith I believe in God. I believe that He is my Heavenly Father and that He ultimately wants me to be happy. I will make Him and His plan for me a priority in my life. This will be done through prayer to Him. I will do this in the morning and in the evening. I will go to Him with my thanks, questions, and concerns. I will do this so that I can better feel His love and influence in my life. I will do this because my life has been truly blessed, and I want to express my gratitude. This will allow me to recognize the many ways I have been blessed. I will also dedicate at least a portion of my morning to reading and pondering the scriptures. I will do this to better understand His character and His plan. 1. Pray at least every morning and evening. 2. Read scriptures daily. Create and follow study plans. 3. Attend the temple once a week. 4. Complete church assignments. Including but not limited to home teaching. My spiritual plan is discussed more in depth in my spiritual plan document. Family & Home I want to be a dedicated and loyal husband. I am currently seeking my future spouse and wish to marry a woman who has a testimony in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I want to regularly attend the temple with her. Together we will hold a Family Home Evening every Monday. This time will be used to build family unity through instruction, games and simple time spent together. Tai Chi

...Module 5 Tai Chi Assignment Tai Chi, is a traditional Chinese martial art and a mind-body exercise that involves a series of fluid, continuous, graceful, dancelike postures, and the performance of movements known as forms. It works on breath control and muscle relaxation by having the person perform movements that are slow, controlled, and rhythmic. In the podcast Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance Movement 1-4 Jamie Goffena describes how to perform four Tai Chi movements. She discusses how to perform holding the ball, parting the wild horse’s mane, the single whip, and waving hands like clouds. I would say all of those movements are yang in style because they are slow large movements. She also discusses the importance of doing Tai Chi in a quiet, peaceful area so you can clear your mind. I think Tai Chi can benefit many people. It benefits the elderly because it helps them focus and use their mind. It also works on strength and deep breathing to help their lungs. I think young generations could benefit as well because it is a time you can relax and distress. Those with chronic back, leg, or other issues could benefit for the less strenuous activity. All in all I don’t think there is just one benefit of Tai Chi but many such as less strenuous, strengthening of mind and body, and relaxation. References Lindquist R., Snyder, M., Tracy, M. (2014). Life Plan

...My Life Plan Stephanie Bazilio Keiser University My Life Plan By definition, success is “the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one’s goals” (Dictionary.com, 2016). John Rawls believed that a “rational life plan” (Boss, 2015, pg. 15) needs to be developed in order to achieve success. With a life plan, the goal-setter is made aware of all the progression they’ve made, which will subconsciously make them want to do more, until they have met all of their goals. In view of this, I will be sharing my values, my strengths and weaknesses, my short and long term goals, and my plans of action to achieve those goals. This is my life plan. There are a lot of values I view as important, however, I managed to come up with my own personal statement of important values. It is important for me to live with purpose and with immense ambition, with determination and great focus. It is important for me to tear down walls, searching for independence and honesty, while preserving the sacredness of God. It is important that I welcome challenges with perseverance that will lead to wisdom and it is important that I share faith, provide hope, and spread love. I want to encourage, provide guidance, and to also inspire others, but most importantly, to love radically, serve sacrificially, and to give generously. What I have found to be my strengths during this phase of my life is the responsibility I......
