This involved all children at the age of eleven undertaking an exam in order to ascertain individual ability in order to separate the children into streams of ability and assign them to what was believed to be the most appropriate school. What I would suggest is purchasing a System to manage the entire production cycle from beginning to end. The customer places the order, we track the raw materials we have on hand and/or place the order for raw materials that we need. At that time since boxes also take four weeks from procurement we can have our system auto order those boxes when the raw materials for the steel is placed. And have that set of the chain of required materials needed for the total order. The software system we use can be customized to our needs so that when we place an order from the beginning it will kick off the chain in the process like a domino effect. If we have the finished widgets in stock we can setup a different chain or order process if we need the boxes and the labels and covers we select that chain or order process, and so on. This new system will also help us keep track of inventory and allow us to keep dashboards on and see order trends. We can analyze trends on customer history and see where our forecasting is going. We can measure labor hours and see what our standard hours are that we are using and what we need to meet our required orders.
