HPA ialah singkatan bagi Herba Penawar Al-Wahida. Syarikat ini dimiliki oleh 100% bumiputera Muslim.

Ia diasaskan oleh Tn Haji Ismail bin Ahmad pada tahun 1987, yang pada ketika itu, dikenali sebagai Perubatan Tradisional Al-Wahida (PTA). Beliau merupakan Lulusan Sarjana Muda Sains (Botani) Universiti Pertanian Malaysia dan pernah berkhidmat sebagai pegawai di Lembaga Pertubuhan Peladang. Datuk beliau merupakan herbalist yang dikenali di Perlis. Mendapat pendedahan awal mengenai herba sejak berumur 12 tahun lagi.

HPA Industries Sdn Bhd dianggotai oleh beberapa graduan Muslim daripada pelbagai bidang kelulusan seperti lulusan ekonomi, perakaunan, sains komputer, pertanian, pengurusan dan lain-lain. Mempunyai lebih kurang 200 pekerja yang kesemuanya beragama Islam dan satu-satunya syarikat MLM milik umat Islam yang telah bertahan melebihi 10 tahun. HPA turut memiliki kilangnya sendiri di Perlis dan Kedah.

Semua produk HPA mendapat kelulusan daripada Biro Pengawalan Farmaseutikal Kebangsaan (BPFK), Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia dan lulus 4 jenis ujian yang diwajibkan sebagai syarat untuk mendapat sijil kelulusan iaitu:
Ujian Mikrob, Ujian Steroid, Ujian Logam Berat, Ujian Kelarutan

Kilang HPA juga mendapat taraf GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) atau Amalan Pengilangan Baik yang dikeluarkan oleh Biro Farmaseutikal Kebangsaan, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia.

Produk HPA tidak meninggalkan kesan sampingan dan boleh digunakan oleh kanak-kanak berumur setahun ke atas. Ia suci dan bersih serta dibuat oleh tangan orang Islam – 200 pekerja muslimin dan muslimat yang diwajibkan berwudhuk sebelum memasuki kilang untuk memulakan kerja.
Setiap pagi, pekerja menunaikan solat dhuha secara berjemaah dan diikuti tazkirah ringkas.

Pelan pemasaran HPA juga tidak bertentangan dengan syarak (telah disemak oleh panel ulama’) – adil, tiada keraguan dan tiada perangkap.…...
