Background
Briefly describe your organisation, what it does, and your role within it:
Established in Cardiff in 1994, IntaPeople have become one of Wales leading Recruitment Consultancies specialising in IT, Engineering, and Commercial industries. Although it was focused predominantly in the South Wales markets it has expanded out considerably covering as far afield as Africa & the APAC regions.

Over the last two years as the company has grown it has diversified in to other key market verticals. The most specific of which are Data Storage and Business Intelligence. This trend has been a result of a specific focus on being specialists within the areas we recruit within, both in understanding the technology & industry needs.

The current structure at IntaPeople is that we are a very ambitious company with a high standing in the South Wales/West market due to our geographical location and a variety of clients that are based across all industry’s – IT, commercial & engineering. We have ‘front end’ consultants who go out to win the business and ‘backend’ or ‘candidate consultants’ who search exclusively for candidates for the front end consultants – however not all front end consultants utilise the back end consultants and prefer to do the whole process themselves.

My role at IntaPeople is as a recruitment consultant with a set annual target of revnue that needs to brought in. I have over the last few 6 months taken a more mentioring/managerial role within the team I sit and have a hands on approach with two new colleagues in our team, offering structured advice and guidance. The sales team currently numbers 26 members of staff, and 34 including all back office & operational staff.

It is within this new remit that I have highlighted several areas which could benefit from improvement.
