and recognizing our strengths, are all positive attitudes and we need positive thoughts

and behaviors in order to accomplish the purpose of life.

Self development is personal development which can be used to support the person in achieving goals and objectives. It is the process of knowing and enhancing our attitudes,

behavior and feelings to have a healthier , happier and successful life. Peter Drucker

(1955) postulates that “Development is always self-development. Nothing could be more

absurd than for the enterprise to assume responsibility for the development of a man .

The responsibility rests with the individual, his abilities, his efforts”. So personal

development is the process of understanding and developing ourselves in order to achieve

our fullest potential. So self development plays a vital role in a person life that is related

to our country advancement. If everyone would care about personal development then

our country will go forward with dignity.

Personal development is a vital part in a person life. It is the foundation of mature

personality, better relationship, happiness, success, growth and prosperity. Therefore

importance of personal development cannot be described in words. Here are described

some of the reasons why personal development is important.

Self development helps us to know about ourselves better. Knowing oneself is a

deeper, greater and slower process. Knowing oneself means respecting one’s values,

beliefs, personality, priority, understanding one’s strength and weakness and purpose

of life. Self development assists us to realize these objects properly.

Personal development assists us to create our goals and purpose of life. There are

many things in life that can distract our attention away from the important. Those

distractions are mainly known as short-term pleasures. They make us feel good in

the short-term but cause long-term harm. Personal development helps us direct our

attention back to what are important. According to Bruce Lee’s quote it is said that

“Absorb what is useful , Discard what is not , Add what is uniquely your own”.

Thus we would realize our motives of life which would help us to reach the goal of

our life. It can also show us the ways of making our life purposes. For example---

Drive across the country we would know we would need a map or compass. These

tools give us direction and show how far along we are toward our destination .

It takes focus , energy and action to reach his personal goals in life.

Personal development enhances our ability to handle different kinds of challenges in our life and we can only handle challenges that lie within our current limit of

ability. Personal development is a way to increase our limit so that one can handle

more difficult challenges . It develops our confidence level , empowerment and

strength . Norman Vincent Peale uttered that “Believe in yourself! Have faith in

your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers

you cannot be successful or happy.” We can increase our abilities by many ways

1. Developing specific skills and qualities . 2. Increasing the level of professionalism and efficiency . 3. To communicate affectively with colleagues and bosses .

4. To create a new strategy for maximum output with minimum resources. 5. Learn time management techniques.

6. To learn stress-relieving techniques .

7. Organize our work space.

8. Increasing analytical education.

If we care about all of these qualities we will be able to progress in our life. In this

way we can develop ourselves as well as our country. Thus people of our country

will be able to handle any challenges if the country will face any types of

Personal development keeps us positive. Self development is worth our time and effort,

especially , when it comes to positive thinking. When our brain is inclined to be positive,

it becomes more creative. By developing positive thinking we will be able to gain the

to increase his sales he should remove all negative attitudes such as insecurities ,

shyness , laziness and others that hinder him from closing deals . Positive thinking has

also the power to change and provide people with a purpose in life. Besides having a

simple and the simple thing is the right thing!" So it is high time to choose the right

things. On the other hand simplicity is key to avoiding overwhelm. And when we avoid

overwhelm, it's easy to put one foot right in front of the other foot.

Personal development teaches us to build better relationship with people. It helps

us to become more confident, helpful, dedicated , simpler and popular. So naturally it

is easy for us to meet others, to create a better relationship with people, to communicate

with others more properly. Better relationship makes people to lead the life happily. If

we can assure a better kinship with others our life will become comfortable wonderful,

and joyful. Throughout history, there have been times when society needs a morale

boost. When we look for outsides of the country it is remarked that the honor of

Americans, Japanese, Chinese are now spread out for staying with get together. In this regard we remember the leading quote of Bruce Lee ---“I fear not the man who has

practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000

times.” In this way we will capable to stay at the one place with even under the risk of

thunders. This strengths aid to make us more powerful that we need to raise our head in

the map of the world. So it is our liability to hold communication with others.

Self development permits us to live a better life style. By improving self-awareness

we can assure us to lead a healthy and balanced life style. It is known that “Health is

wealth”. It provides an opportunity to take care of our health. Personal development ROLE OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT 8

helps us to form an excellent life by performing a role that is full of disciplined,

courtesy and modesty and that can capable us to enjoy a stresses free life.

This paper has presented the simple model on personal development. While self improvement allows us to reach our true and fullest potential. The model is able to address some of the important issues inherent in self advancements. Specifically, the model focuses on the issue of self improvement that makes us to become better able to understand ourselves, others, the world around us and to make positive changes in that world. At the end of the paper it must be told that--- imagine personal development is like plant.
If we take care of it by giving it the reasonable amount of water, sunlight and soil, it will grow into a healthy and beautiful tree. But if we neglect it and won’t pay attention to what kind of nourishment it needs, then expect that plant to get dry and eventually die.
Personal development is like how we nurture of a plant. So for our country progresses, advancements and develops we all should develop our personal attitudes and behaviors that will make our country to raise its head with glory in the world.…...

...Although employed, many are still in non-graduate jobs. In terms of the geographical spread of jobs for new graduates, there is a strong bias towards London and the South-East of England with one in five of all recent graduates who are in graduate employment based in London. This is by far the largest share of the graduate jobs market in England. In contrast, the lowest proportions of graduates are working in the North East of England and the east Midlands (BBC, 2012). Aside from the graduate marketplace, organisations offer graduate training programmes which can be a great way to jump start a new graduate’s career. It can take many formats depending on the employer; but it usually allows graduates to experience many aspects of both the role, and the organisation as a whole (Brighton, 2013). Formal graduate training schemes generally last approximately one year, although it can be longer – however, this all depends on the specific employer programme (Graduate Jobs, 2013). The closing dates vary between graduate schemes. Many close as early as November for graduates who will graduate during the following year. However, some will keep their deadlines open for as long as it takes to fill all the available positions. There are a limited number of spaces available on any graduate training scheme, so employers set minimum requirements to qualify for entry for example you are usually required to hold a 2:1 in your degree or higher (Graduate Jobs, 2013). ...Shanie Marie T. Perez Reaction on the Role Development of Nurses The role development of the nurses came about during the second wave of feminism (1960-1980) during which education for nurses moved from the hospitals to universities. During this time nurses wanted to broaden their knowledge and have their own distinct function and autonomy in the health care system. They wanted to break the traditional view of the nurses as handmaiden to the doctors. As nurses pursued their ambitions to be an effective member of the health team gaining their degrees in the universities, the nurse’s role further expanded to further meet the demands of the ever-changing society and increasingly complex healthcare system. Thus advanced nursing education grew to meet these challenges that nurses were facing. The rising of high-technology computer-operated equipments added to more specialization trainings and seminars that would cater to nurses to be digitally intellectual. This progress opened new doors to nurses. It opened new opportunities to further widen their knowledge in their chosen field and develop skills and attitude necessary in caring for the sick. It drove nurses to be more efficient, proficient and expert to achieve the best possible patient care outcomes. Nursing became not just a broader field but it became deeper too.
