I. Introduction
Over the course of the last few weeks, this theology class has discussed several topics that have been very helpful, insightful and eye opening in my Christian walk. I have learned many new things and have gone deeper in my understanding of the things I already knew. In this paper, I would like to discuss three topics that I found to be the most interesting: * Why are personal testimonies important in sharing the gospel? * If a person is a Christian, does it matter how they live their life? * What can your local church do to better communicate God’s love to your community?

The Bible has all the answers. We must study this awesome book to find the answers to the very questions we ask.
II. Personal Testimonies
Personal testimonies are important in sharing the gospel because they tell what God is doing in people’s lives. Sharing the gospel is a way of sharing God’s good works and a way of meeting people where they are, to try to help them. People can read the Bible, have questions, and seek guidance from others, preferably more mature Christians; however, sometimes the Bible in general is hard to relate to until we hear statements from someone we know and trust. “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20, TNIV). It is easier to reach others when they can relate to a real person and it is a great way to remember all that God has done and is doing in one’s life, to share your personal testimony with someone else. On a personal note, as part of my testimony, I would like to share that my marriage went through some growing pains so to speak. During the first few years of our marriage, there was a period where there was a lot of fighting. Eventually my wife and I separated after…...

...LIFE STYLES INVENTORY EXERCISE: A PERSONAL REFLECTION PREPARED BY GM591:LEADERSHIP AND ORGONIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR Professor Lopez May 13, 2012 INTRODUCTION In today’s world it is essential for managers to have critical leadership skills in order to reach their full potential. The Life Style Inventory survey has allowed me to reflect on my own way of thinking and how it influences my behavior. The circumplex shows me that my primary style of thinking is the Convention style. This style incorporates managers being routine, strictly adhering to rules, procedures and difficulty taking small risks. The backup style of thinking is the approval style. In the approval style managers are “overly concerned with being popular and well liked”. I feel that the survey is accurate in the way it describes my management style. PERSONAL THINKING STYLES As a manager in retail sales I definitely see myself practicing both conventional and approval style of leadership. For instance my route to work every day is conventional in the sense that it is the same road every time even though I have the option to take an alternate route. I prefer to take the same road everyday and arrive on time. As the manager I’m required to perform certain tasks at specific times during my shift as described by the company rules. At peak times, the situation may call to abandon protocol but I always tend to stick to the procedures. I agree with the LSI survey because by following the rules, I...

...In week three we had three primary learning objectives. The three objectives were preparing closing entries, reversing entries, and a post-closing trial balance, preparing a financial statement worksheet, and to prepare a classified income statement, retained earnings statement and balance sheet. In order for a company to close the books at the end of a financial period the closing entries are made into the accounting journal based on the account balances on the adjusted trial balance. These closing entries transfer the balances of temporary accounts to permanent accounts. Reversing entries are done to cancel any adjusting entries involving payments or cash receipts that have not been made or received at this point. This allows a company to avoid explaining the connection of a particular payment or receipt from the current period to a previous period. A Post closing trial balance is a list of the balances after all closing entries are posted to the ledger. The post- closing trial balance also gives the opening balances for the new accounting period. The reason for using a financial statement worksheet normally comes from large companies. They need this worksheet due to a large amount of journal entries. Multiple accountants can add to this worksheet and fill out the needed information on the designated areas. This worksheet allows accountants to also quickly see mistakes that have been made. This also allows them to easily correct the mistake as well. When large......

...This assignment is somewhat difficult for me as I am mostly an introverted person. However, being and introvert has its plus sides as well for example, I love to study in quiet places, and take time to reflect on what I study. This in turn I believe allows me to understand better the material that I have covered. Also as an introvert I tend to let others take the lead, but I have no problem in leadership positions when I am required to be in one. One of my other attributes is that I am a sensor. This means that I am rather good at explaining things to a group, or partner. As well as creating a schedule for studying. This can help a group project by using time management skills in order to best use the time allotted to us for a project. As well as explaining things in detail that others might have missed. , One of my favorite quotes to live by was said to me by a close friend of mine Thomas Peterson “Everything will be ok in the end, if it’s not ok than it’s not the end.” This leads me to my next attribute which is a thinker. I tend to think things through several different ways before setting to work. In aa group setting or with a partner I feel as though this is important because I can explain most information gathered in a clear and logical way, for those that may not quite understand the meaning of something. I definitely look at things from a big picture stand point, I really like to envision the final goal of a project before I start on anything. This can be a......

Paper

...deinking Paper recycling processes can use either chemical or mechanical pulp. By mixing with water and applying mechanical action the hydrogen bonds in the paper can be broken and fibres separated again. Most recycled paper contains a proportion of virgin fibre in the interests of quality. Generally deinked pulp is of the same quality or lower than the collected paper it was made from. There are three main classifications of recycled fibre:. Mill Broke or Internal Mill Waste – this incorporates any substandard or grade-change paper made within the paper mill which then goes back into the manufacturing system to be re-pulped back into paper. Such out-of-specification paper is not sold and is therefore often not classified as genuine reclaimed recycled fibre. However, most paper mills have been recycling their own waste fibre for many years, long before recycling become popular. Preconsumer Waste – this is offcuts and processing waste, such as guillotine trims and envelope blank waste. This waste is generated outside the paper mill and could potentially go to landfill, and is a genuine recycled fibre source. Also includes de-inked preconsumer (recycled material that has been printed but did not reach its intended end use, such as waste from printers and unsold publications).[7] Postconsumer waste – this is fibre from paper which has been used for its intended end use and would include office waste, magazine papers and newsprint. As the vast majority of this paper has......

Blind Refelction

...Blind experiment I decided to be "blind" for my business fraternity chapter meeting. I thought this would be a good time because they run about an hour and I can be seated. However, sitting in the back of the room, eyes closed made me nervous and overwhelmed. I rarely knew who was talking. I could hear people walking, a lot of chattering among the friends groups, and even the silences when conversations ended. There are about 80 people in the room with me, but I felt so isolated and alone. I felt like I couldn't talk to anyone because I couldn’t see anyone or made eye contact with them. I was so overwhelmed by how fast everyone talked, how many people were talking and that I couldn’t understand or be involved with anyone's conversation. The president ran through the old business and the new business, each chair walked up and gave their report. But I felt like I never knew what they were talking about. I was listening but I couldn't see their reactions and I felt like there was a topic on screen that everyone was talking about and I was the only one who did not know what it was. The short laughs and giggles from people around me talking made me the most confused. I felt on the outside of everything that it annoyed me to no end, I was mad and frustrated that I was left out of whatever was happening. I barely made it the whole meeting keeping my eyes closed. My lasting impression of not being able to see was that no one talked to me, despite being surrounded by my closest......

Team Refelction

...(McConnell, Rue, & Flynn, 2009). Apply economic cost concepts in making business decisions. One of the simplest economic concepts that team “B” used was the concept of opportunity cost. For example, when opportunity costs involve money for example, an employee may decide to switch departments. The switch comes with $15,000 more a year but a slightly altered work schedule that requires the employee to work three weekends out of each month. The opportunity cost in this case is the $15,000 more a year the employee will make. The trade-off however, will be the time taken away from family and the things the employee did while off on the weekend he traded for work. Week Two Podcast and Objectives During the introduction of this reflection paper terms such as opportunity costs, production levels, fixed and variable costs are mentioned. The week two podcast is a generalized synopsis of the terms and objectives covered during week two. At this stage of the class students are expected to begin to make correlations between production levels, profits, and revenues, inclusive of an understanding of the fixed and variable cost annexed with it. Tharthur Myers of Team “B” made a very interesting comment about fixed and variable costs. Tharthur stated that while initially being self-employed, he had no concept of fixed and variable costs. It wasn’t until he experienced multiple sunken costs scenarios that he began to realize the fixed and variable costs associated with his loss......
