Recently there has been a decline in employee morale. Senior management thinks that a new employee incentive program may boost employee morale (University of Phoenix, 2012, para. 3). This paper will include the work breakdown structure, activities, the sequenced activity diagram, a human resources plan, and a communication plan. The communication methods identified in the communication plan will be evaluated by identifying the communication tools and techniques most effective for the audience, and an explanation of why the methods of communication identified are most effective. Proposed rule. SUMMARY: The Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”) is proposing a Roadmap for the potential use of financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) as issued by the International Accounting Standards Board by U.S. issuers for purposes of their filings with the Commission. This Roadmap sets forth several milestones that, if achieved, could lead to the required use of IFRS by U.S. issuers in 2014 if the Commission believes it to be in the public interest and for the protection of investors. This Roadmap also includes discussion of various areas of consideration for market participants related to the eventual use of IFRS in the United States. As part of the Roadmap, the Commission is proposing amendments to various regulations, rules and forms that would permit early use of IFRS by a limited number of U.S. issuers where this would enhance the comparability of financial information to investors. Only an issuer whose industry uses IFRS as the basis of financial reporting more than any other set of standards would be eligible to elect to use IFRS, beginning with......

Oyod. “We decided to hold this assembly of our elder leaders in the royal houses of Bangsamoro to have our voices be heard by our officials in the national government, as well as, by the people in Mindanao,” said Sultan Pinandatu Uko Mluk. “We have suffered many years of struggle and we want peace in our home for both Christians and Muslims,” said Prime Sultan Sayyid for his part. Ghazali Jaafar, Ist vice chairman the MILF Central Committee, said the conference demonstrated the unity of the Muslims whose lives have been “in constant struggle for so many years.” “It is very painful for us – both Christian and Muslim – that after years of hard work to find peace in Mindanao, the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law is being delayed or suspended because of an unfortunate incident last January,” Jaafar said. The MILF official stressed that the Bangsamoro goal is to usher Mindanao to a new growth area, to be dubbed as “The New Mindanao,” which will become a vital part of the economic, political, and social development of the entire Philippines. “As we aim to build up the New Mindanao, guns shall be changed to shovels. ...Chapter 1 Financial Markets Financial markets perform two important functions. They transfer funds from savers into investments and they transfer title of ownership of existing securities from sellers to buyers. Financial markets and the transfer of savings Two basic methods exist for transferring funds from savers to users. First is direct investment when you start own business and invest your savings in the operation. A direct investment also occurs when securities are initially sold to investors in primary market. In the second markets, no funds are transferred and no new assets are created, there is only the transfer of ownership of an existing asset. The alternative to direct transfer of savings is an indirect transfer through a financial intermediary. You lend funds to the bank; the bank lends the funds to the ultimate borrower. The role of money Money: anything that is generally accepted as a means of payment. Liquidity: Ease of converting an asset into cash without loss, the depth of a financial market. Federal Reserve has the power to control the supply of money and to oversee the commercial banking system. Money supply: Total amount of money in circulation. 2 measures: M1: Sum of coins, currency, and demand deposits (checking account); M2: M1+saving accounts (70%), small certificates of deposits.
