Employee Involvement Program
Formulate an employee involvement program that will engage and inspire Auction-Off.com employees. You may choose among four types of programs: participative management, representative participation, quality circles, or employee stock ownership plans. Explain why you selected the program you did, and how you think it will benefit Auction-Off.com and its employees.

Program Description:
Employees will be given the advantage to participate in an employee stock ownership plan. This plan will help participants stay focused on the company’s performance and share price appreciation. Because employees benefit from this they will be encouraged to be productive. The company will do its part by keeping shareholders posted on the company’s status, and consider any recommendations they should have to improve business relations.

Employee Recognition Program
Formulate an employee recognition program that will reward high-performing Auction-Off.com employees. Suggest individual, team, and company-based recognition methods. Explain why you created the program you did, and how you think it will benefit Auction-Off.com and its employees.

Program Description:
Each department should be evaluated to see its greatest needs of recognition. For individual recognition praise something the employee has done well, identifying the specific actions found admirable; regularly say “thank you”. Teams need to be recognized together as well. Have team meetings that unite their success, and highlight key areas that department has been doing well in. Show statistics and facts to back up praise. This should be done on a monthly or quarterly time period. Offer fun snacks and drinks at these departmental gatherings. For company based recognition, have a yearly party. First, you must be organized in time management because this is an essential part of being a supervisor. You must be able to make necessary decisions and changes in order to keep your production running harmoniously. For example, you have an assembly line in which you have 20 employees inserting different components into desktop computers. Each person inserts 2 parts into the housing as it goes down the line and after the 20th person installs their components, the computer moves on to another line. Today you have 3 people on dayshift that call off work; which means you have to fill the three openings in order to keep production running. What do you do? Option #1 is to have 3 people from other departments come over and fill the spots except it leaves those departments short by one person. Now this is a feasible idea providing the other departments are not already short staffed. Also it will shutdown your production line until you find the people willing to switch.
