According to St. James Press (2004),“Sear, RoeBuck and Co is a leading retailer of apparel, home, and automotive products and services, with annual revenue of more than $40 billion” (para. 1). In the area of retention and employee satisfaction Sears, Roebuck turned a challenging situations into a celebrated win for the organization. Sears amazingly linked employee satisfaction to employee retention, which led to customer satisfaction and higher performance (Streetdirectory, 2011).
Sears identified a major component to turn their situation around which consisted of creating a better workplace. Sears main approach started with employee satisfaction by measuring employee’s attitude through an employee survey. The results of the employee survey were later compared to the customer results survey, then compare to profit trends. Sears found that the data revealed the power that employees have on an organization’s growth (Streetdirectory, 2011). After learning of these findings, Sears’s turnaround began by focusing on employee’s satisfaction in different areas of need. Sears was reluctant to take the usually approach through lay-off, outsourcing, reduction of benefits or streamlining operations. Sears started with a survey, that later revealed the true underlining issue, which was employee satisfaction. Sear willingness to overcome employee satisfaction through restructuring employee hourly status, pay rates, and total rewards packages, led to free advertisement and a positive marketing tool for the organization. Employee satisfaction was the driving force behind customer satisfaction and increased revenue (Streetdirectory, 2011).
In comparison to Sears, Riordan is face with similar challenges and their desired growth may begin also with employee satisfaction, which can lead to customer satisfaction and higher profits. The results of Sears labor is employee…...

During unit testing each module is tested alone in an attempt to discover any errors that may exist. another test is integration testing, where you bring together all of the modules to be tested together. Another type of test is system testing where you test all of the programs together. Then there is stub testing. In stub testing two or three lines of code are written by a programmer to stand in for the missing modules. Another type of test is inspection. During inspection a testing technique where participants examine program code for predictable language-specific errors. Due to the fact that testing often requires a large amount of labor, Riodan manufacturing's programmer will use a testing harness to reduce this work load by helping them automatically review the quality of their code. Once the system tests have been completed the programming team will start acceptance testing. Acceptance testing is the process where actual users test a completed IS system and either accept it or not accept it based on the results. There are two typed of acceptance testing, alpha testing and beta testing. During alpha testing the testers use simulated but typical data for system testing. ...Riodan Manufacturing: Memorandum Analysis After reviewing the Riodan Manufacturing Memorandum pertaining to the China Relocation the overall assessment is that it was informative to the recipients but needs more clarity and the right detailed information, perhaps attachments as well. How I reacted to the memo: The document seems organized and flows with the intent of the message until you get to the bullets. The information seems to break down here. I see no reason why there are bullets, these could be more logically, short one liners, or be paragraphs and some of the information doesn’t seem to be needed, as it may be too vague and confusing for the recipients. The information in the bullets could well be left out of this document or at least revised; I’m uncertain whether they truly add value. Visual attachments might have aided in the understanding of the changes as well, the use of kilometers should also include miles, in case some recipients are not knowledgeable on the metric system. The memorandum also speaks to significant cost savings and increased production volumes, yet there are no statistics included, so how do the recipients comprehend this? The closing paragraph speaks to each recipient drafting a strategic plan immediately, yet the move is planned sometime within the next five years, with no set expectation of an actual timeframe for the recipients. Also, there is no set time for the delivery of the strategic plans and to whom. The document......

Having easy access, gives the edge to companies, provides for better productivity and cost effectiveness. In order to know the criteria for a system the system requirements has to be determined. The first process in system development is requirement analysis and definition. This enables the breakdown of the functional and non-functional requirements that paints a clear framework to the system development (Rouse, 2012). Technology requirements, stakeholders, and businesses have a viable part in the process of analysis process. There are four activities involved in the analysis process, the first is elicitation activity, is the collecting of information and understanding the needs of the stakeholder and articulating high-level requirements. The analysis activity, determines clarity, and if the system is free of any contradictions, defines techniques to combat the issues. Specification activity is where the behavior of a system is a developing stage. ...control all of the skies, one who controls the oceans and its healing affects. Then you see the underworld leader who was brought to shame for his wrongdoings. And then the messenger between the worlds, who takes things to and from al gods but yet, is a god himself. As a Greek god or follower down below Olympus, you are required to be knowledgeable and go into school. If you are not a child of knowledge the to the gods you were useless better known as live bait. Ancient times considered education a very desirable aspect and the gods’ supplies the most sought out educators to teach yeanlings about how to go from squid to shark. The rites of passage went through many debates and trials with perils throughout time. As in the book by Rick Riodan, the Greek gods were outlawed against mixing love with a mortal. In the book, it shows how Greek mythology is compared to modern day myths. According to our knowledge of educational factoids, Greeks were ruthless when it came to mixing pleasure and work. They were not to mix when it came to mortals; mortals were outlawed to all creatures being deemed untrusting. They showed no passion and some were just downright devious. When you read about the Greek gods, you see what each one stood for; think how long it took for them to get to that spot in life, what changes did they have to endure? Pain, suffering and schooling to achieve what was necessary for their pride in life. Last but not least, Japan. In early Japan we had samurai solders.......

Criteria In preparation for the redesign, careful consideration must go into what criteria to judge the old design and other examples for sites. To that end, the following criteria are of utmost importance: page layout, content presentation, navigation, effective links, color and graphics, font usage, accessibility, relevance spacing, multimedia, and browser compatibility. Each piece must fall under certain criteria in order for the user to consider it effective. Certain elements and pitfalls should remain at the forefront of any design to justify the resource cost of the criteria. Page Layout The first thing anyone would notice about the Riodan Manufacturing website is that is is cluttered with useless images that contain absolutely no context. There is a slideshow of images that take center stage. The first image is of different plastic bottles. The second image is nearly undiscernible as to what it is meant to represent. The third image is of two different types of fans. The fourth image is of a number of plastic containers. It is unclear as to what the point of these images are designed to represent. Also, these photos should not take up a majority of the screen. There is no information about the company located on its only public facing home page. No site map is present, as the site is only one page. Overall, this site is ineffective and utterly useless to......
