Administration of early childhood ED programs.

DQ1
Describe early childhood program models in your community.
I live in a very small community and we only had one early childhood Program which was called the Head Start programs this is not counting the preschool that is at the school I work at. The Early childhood program in my town ended up being closed down due to lack of resources the teachers where no there to teach they only cared about the money and there was very poor financial management.
Explain which child development theory is the model for the implementation of each program.
From my personal experience I know that there are several interactions that can be made between a early childhood educator and the students and families they have every day. That is how you can find out the highest level of quality that is attaining by the interaction that is made. Being able to plan for the programs and attending courses to gain a high-quality care and college courses will increase our childcare setting and the education setting as well.
Curriculum
The early childhood curriculum has changed so much over the years. No the curriculum has so much more into it over just the daily activities that the child will have even in our learning centers the teachers now plan. The components are daily planning and engagement, this also includes conversation between child caregivers and the children, the physical layout of the facility and any material/supplies that will be offered to the children. (Planning and Administering Early Childhood Programs, 9th Edition Pg. 20).
Daily operations management
This area includes the active facility by the programs administrator who ensures both the process and the structural programs and their characteristics and continues maintained.
Financial management

...For observation of an early childhood education institution I visited the preschool classroom of Livonia Little Tots in Livonia, Michigan . The classroom consisted of eight children, five and six years old. The type of program at Livonia Little Tots is what I will call a “traditional” preschool. After being given the opportunity to observe a preschool program traditional setting, I found that I was comparing and contrasting the events I had observed in each classroom with each other. When I walked into the preschool classroom of Livonia Little Tots the children had just arrived at school. The students were hanging up their coats, saying goodbye to their parents, and finding an activity to play with before the day would officially begin. Some of the children were putting puzzles together, others were playing the game “Ants in the Pants,” and others were cutting fun shapes out of construction paper. They participated in these and similar activities for about twenty minutes while the teacher was preparing for the morning “circle time.” While the students were permitted to play with, however, and whatever they wanted to, the students at the traditional classroom were asked to use their inside voices rather than being allowed to speak in any level of voice. I've learned children are taught through the world around them including their society, their religion, and culture. Implementing what I learned in my classroom can start with making the room literacy friendly. Two such activities can be as teachers being the focus on group activities that can become jumping-off points for small group or individual learning centers. Self-directed learning center activities should be short, with easy-to-follow instructions that readily engage the relatively short attention span of young learners!
